Eyebrows

Microblading/ Powder Brow/ Combo Brow process & experience:

When you come in for your Procedure I will take the time to explain the measurement process & color. Please mention any & all concerns so we may work them out. I will start mapping out your eyebrows. Once I have one shaped and mapped out, I will hand you a mirror and make sure you like the shape. Then follow the same method for the other eyebrow. Once completed I hand you A mirror one more time before we begin. Once we both love them, the procedure begins, which takes about an hour. There is pain evolved, so after the first pass I do apply a numbing gel. You’re more than welcome to come in for a consultation prior to the appointment. Though not necessary. Please read below for any further questions! If you still have questions after reading please contact me.

BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT REQUIRES A DEPOSIT.

FAQ:

  1. Does Microblading hurt?

The pain from micro blading depends on variety of things. Clients natural pain tolerance can be effected by menstrual cycles, medications, skin problems & overall skin conditions. From some people it may be very subtle & for others may feel severe discomfort. Therefore, I use a great numbing cream which fully numbs clients 95.9% of the time with no further discomfort.

  2. Are your needles/tools clean?

    • Yes! Sterile tools or UNOPEN disposable tools are used for your safety! They are one time used and deposited after the procedure, and are opened in front of you.

  3. I want to do eyelashes extension, should I do my brows before or after the procedure?

    • It is much better to do your eyelashes extensions before the procedure, but if you decide to do it after, you must wait at least 10-14 days. The reason for the is due to the difficulty of your eyelash tech avoiding the healing brows area while preforming the eyelash extension. Highly recommended that the outer portion of the skin is healed before moving forward with other facial procedures.

  4. If I use numbing cream will there be different results as oppose to not using any?

    • Using numbing cream before cutting the skin, I could apply the cream & leave you for 45 minutes to an hour- the problem with this is that the skin becomes saturated with too much water (retains water) & the skin is going to grab a rubber-like consistency. When this happens, the pigment won’t fit well into the skin & the results will not be satisfactory. Therefore, it is recommended to use numbing cream just after the first pass (when the skin is already open). If you insists on using numbing cream before starting the procedure, use the cream for 10 minutes tops to not hold much water.

  5. I am planning to go on vacation, can i still get microblading?

    • The best time to do microblading is 14 days before or after vacation. The Reason being is that 14 days give the outer layer of the skin time to heal to protect it from water & sun damage. After vacation skin may be sun burnt so it’s better to allow natural complexion & texture to resurface.

  6. How long does the session take?

    • Depending on the comfort level of the client, 1 session could range from 90 minutes to 120 minutes.

  7. What is the difference between micro blading & shading technique?

    • Microblading is a technique applied with a manual blade of 18 pins to create realistic & natural hair-like strokes. Shadow effect is mostly used with machine & have more of a makeup effect powdery effect.

  8. How long does it last?

    • Depending on the type of skin, after care procedure & work from artist the micro blading could range from 6 months to 16 months.

  9. I have previous work done on my brows. Can I still do the hair strokes?

    • Yes, you can! In most situations previous makeup can be covered with beautiful hair strokes, but there are times when previous PMU make be too dark, the skin may be badly scarred or the previous shape doesn’t fit into our natural desired shape & in some cases its safer not working on the brows.

  10. How far apart is each session?

    • After the first appointment, the second stage of the treatment is the TOUCH-UP which is 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment. It takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks for the skin to completely heal.
